Google Review Harassment Aimed at You or Your Staff
Google review harassment is a review that threatens, insults or targets a person instead of describing an experience. Google's policy doesn't allow harassment, hate speech or other people's personal information in reviews. We report it under the right rule, and you pay only if it is removed.
You pay only if the review is removed. Your price is confirmed in writing before any work starts.

Harsh criticism or harassment?
Google keeps reviews that are angry, rude or unfair when they describe a real experience. Harassment is different: the review goes after a person.
- A threat of harm against you or a staff member that makes you fear for your safety.
- Slurs or attacks based on race, religion, gender, disability or another protected trait.
- Repeated personal insults aimed at a named employee rather than the service.
Reviews that expose personal information
Google review personal information rules cover details about a living, identifiable person: a full name, a face in a photo, financial, medical or ID details.
Naming an employee without consent can fall under the same rule, especially alongside an attack. A review that mentions a patient's health is reported as personal information; we don't advise on health privacy law.
Evidence that helps
- A dated screenshot of the review, with the exact words that cross the line.
- Whether the person named works for you, and whether they agreed to be named.
- Any messages that came with the review.
Don't reply with the reviewer's details or your own accusations. If the review states false facts rather than insults, see Google Review Defamation: When a False Review Goes Too Far.
How we handle it
Free audit
We check the wording against Google's harassment, hate speech and personal information rules.
Report under the right rule
The request quotes the words and names the rule. Timing depends on each platform's own review process; we tell you what to expect in your audit.
Next step if it stays
Google makes the final call. If it keeps the review, we tell you whether an appeal makes sense.
To flag it yourself first, read How to Report a Google Review. If someone threatens your safety, contact local police as well.
How we handle every review
You pay only if the review is removed
If the review stays up, you owe nothing for that review.
The platform makes the final call
Google and every other platform decide what comes down under their own rules. We prepare the strongest request those rules allow, and no one can promise a removal.
Legitimate routes only
Policy reports, appeals, legal requests when a review may be unlawful, and a public response when a review has to stay. No fake accounts, no mass flagging and no fake reviews.

Questions about abusive reviews
Will Google remove a review just because it is rude?
No. Rudeness alone usually stays up. Google acts when the review harasses a person, uses hate speech or exposes personal information.
A review names one of my employees. Can it come down?
Sometimes. A name used to attack or expose someone can break the personal information or harassment rule; a polite mention of good service usually doesn't.
Do I pay anything if Google keeps the review?
No. You pay only if the review is removed, and the audit is free.
