# Glassdoor Review Removal for Employers

Glassdoor review removal for employers starts with Glassdoor's Community Guidelines, not with how a review makes the company look. We check whether a review breaks those guidelines and help you flag it the right way. Glassdoor makes the final call and protects honest reviews from employees.

## Reviews Glassdoor may take down

Employers can't remove reviews from Glassdoor themselves. Glassdoor takes a review down when it breaks the Community Guidelines, for example:

- Reviews that name a non-public individual at the company.
- Confidential or proprietary company information.
- Threats, harassment or hate speech.
- Content that isn't a first-hand experience at your company.
- Reviews posted with a clear conflict of interest.

A critical review of pay, management or culture from someone who worked there is not on this list.

## Why anonymity changes the approach

Glassdoor lets employees post anonymously and does not tell employers who wrote a review.

So a flag can't rest on guessing who the author is. It has to point to something in the review itself that breaks the guidelines.

Glassdoor doesn't explain its decisions in detail, which makes a clear, specific flag matter even more.

## How to remove Glassdoor reviews as an employer

1. **Use an employer account.** Flags and public responses come from a Glassdoor employer account for your company profile.
2. **Flag under the right guideline.** Name the rule the review breaks and quote the exact words. Timing depends on each platform's own review process; we tell you what to expect in your audit.
3. **Respond if it stays.** A professional reply appears under the review, where job seekers read both sides.

## What we won't do for employers

Employers often ask how to remove negative Glassdoor reviews that are honest. Glassdoor protects those reviews, and we tell you so in the audit.

We don't try to identify reviewers, flood the page with positive reviews or pressure staff to post. Those tactics break Glassdoor's guidelines and can create legal risk for an employer.

If a review states false facts about the company, the legal route may apply; see [Google Review Defamation: When a False Review Goes Too Far](https://removemyreviews.com/services/defamatory-reviews/).

## How we handle every review

- **You pay only if the review is removed.** If the review stays up, you owe nothing for that review.
- **The platform makes the final call.** Google and every other platform decide what comes down under their own rules. We prepare the strongest request those rules allow, and no one can promise a removal.
- **Legitimate routes only.** Policy reports, appeals, legal requests when a review may be unlawful, and a public response when a review has to stay. No fake accounts, no mass flagging and no fake reviews.

## Glassdoor questions from employers

### Can an employer delete a Glassdoor review?

No. Employers can flag a review and respond publicly, but only Glassdoor can remove it under its Community Guidelines.

### Will Glassdoor tell us who wrote a review?

No. Glassdoor keeps reviewers anonymous, so a flag has to rely on what the review says.

### Do we pay anything if Glassdoor keeps the review?

No. You pay only if the review is removed.
